Hello and welcome! I’m Steven, and I love to cook and eat! No, seriously, I can eat 8 meals a day. Thankfully, my loved ones are used to it by now so they (usually) don’t get annoyed when I yell “I’M HUNGRY”, again and again 😁. I started this Let’s Get Chefy food blog to share with you my simple and delicious recipes that you can make right at home! Simplicity is best when it comes to cooking and this is my little homage to all the ingredients that go into everyday cooking, no matter how plain.
And this is my girlfriend, Tina. Luckily she appreciates food and enjoys spending time in the kitchen as much as I do. We would cook together, eat what we just made while watching videos about cooking and eating. That’s normal, right? Right??
There is truly something special about sharing a meal. Growing up, some of my fondest memories were connecting with family and friends through food, even if it’s just a bowl of instant ramen noodles. Ever since I was in elementary school, I would stand in the kitchen and watch my mom cook us dinner, then we would eat while watching Food Network together, good times!
In terms of recipes, we really are food enthusiasts. We are always willing to try new things. The recipes on Let’s Get Chefy are always going to be ones we’ve made and tried ourselves! It could be anything; steak, pasta, noodles, curries, salads, tacos, desserts, steak, etc. Did I say steak twice, we love steak! Oh and we absolutely ❤ spicy food! On a more personal note, we’re constantly looking for ways to grow and enjoy life as much as possible. Be it exploring a new hiking trail, learning a new board game, hosting (dinner) parties, or picking up a new hobby 🙂
