Ah, good ol’ Shakshuka. This spicy tomato poached egg dish is one of the simplest things you can make that satisfies the soul! It’s sweet, savory, rich, packed full of flavors, and it’s really healthy! Oh, and it’s fun to say, SHAKSHUKAAA.
Although it is often eaten for brunch, shakshuka really is just as good for any meal of the day. A golden rule of Tina’s is: “If bread goes well with it, it’s a great dish for breakfast, lunch, dinner.” Pretty fair rule. And guess what? This is the perfect dish for dipping bread in! As you can tell from my Easy Homemade Tomato Soup, we love baguette (almost as much as she loves cheese)!
Not to mention, spring is almost here. That means warmer weather and more daylight 🙌! But before we celebrate, there is still the last little stretch of winter to go, so I thought this was the right time for comforting dish. This healthy dish has major flavor and will warm you right up. On top of all that it is easy to make, how could I say no to that! Try this for brunch this weekend!
